- ETL Ascential Developer / Teradata : Responsibilities/Rationale for new position:
Must be currently working with Ascential and have a minimum of 5 years experience
ROLE DESCRIPTION:
Creation of Technical Specs for the transformation of data for the application.
Main developer and Architect of the RE Reporting for the Claim Conversion Project.
Understand and document the technical solutions.
Work with the business community to understand the data requirements.
Perform Unit Testing on all developed code.
Identify technical solutions for performance improvements.
Assist other team members in the use of other ETL tools for data analysis and profiling
Experience/Qualifications Required:
Education - Equivalent to a Bachelors degree
ETL - Ascential Experience A minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience utilizing the Ascential Tool - AIX Version, Experience as a lead designer. Extensive knowledge of data access techniques and tools. Tools such as ETL, Data Stage, Profile Stage, Quality Stage, scheduling tools and Meta data. Must be able to work with data in the mainframe environment as well.. Experience with mainframe programming languages such as Cobol, easytrieve and 4th GL such as Focus are a plus.
