- People soft Financials Support Level III :
As a Senior Peoplesoft Financials Application Support Specialist you will provide on-going support for Peoplesoft GL and other finance applications.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Provide support to the business on multiple aspects of Peoplesoft Financials
-Deliver quality support to end users in the organization.
-Maintain clear understanding of the various upstream / downstream dependencies of the applications supported.
-Work closely with other operational and support groups and create increased synergies.
-Work on projects and provide subject matter expertise, understand the requirements / design and provide feedback, help with data analysis and perform UAT testing.
-Expert at support of business critical applications and ensure high quality of customer satisfaction.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
This is not just a Production Support role. Your support responsibilities fall in to two categories: 1) proactive and 2) reactive Support.
**Proactive support** includes identifying application upgrade paths, identifying manual processes and working to getting them automated, etc.
**reactive support** includes troubleshooting production problems, providing technical assistance, escalating and coordinating the problem resolution.
